well it depends what your looking for..if you want something just to post pictures, links, or just information and ideas...I personally picked a blog jsut because its easier to keep up, its like facebook...although im always looking for new looks for it...

A forum...ok this might not be coming out right..but..its only part of the website..its not a full website..forums in my opinion are for discussions on a website..or abotu a product...i personally dont like just a random internet forum...i feel like forums should be connected to either a blog or full website...

Im thinking of making my own forum for my tumblr.

I've never agreed with you more, Bobby! About a general question of course! They should be connected, not just alone unless you somehow make the forum look very professional and often times forums aren't really meant for the professional look, they're just for large groups of people who want to talk.

Hello Techies!

I'm Yossi Steinberger, and studying science in Israel at the Weizmann Institute. Thank you Google for helping me keep in touch with my family and friends back in New York.

Cool.

That's awesome! Enjoying it there? Any cool things you learn? Yup! Thanks to Google, for a lot of things! Like their new Google 'Drive'?

Tech Talk & Technical Support / FotoFlexer
« Last post by Admin on May 01, 2012, 01:36:48 am »
Do your photos look like they could use a tune-up? Do your friends tease you about your laser eyes of doom? Well, guess what? I have a solution– and no, it doesn’t involve lasik eye surgery (unless, maybe, your friends also happen to call you “four-eyes.”).

FotoFlexer is an online photo editor to help users edit their photos for free and with ease. It is one of the most advanced photo editing programs online. You can do almost anything to your photos and save them once you’re done to your computer or e-mail.

With FotoFlexer you can

  • Sharpen/soften images
    Add effects to your images
    Remove red-eyes
    Add text, stickers and labels
    Resize, crop, rotate, autofix
Create a FotoFlexer account or connect it to your email or Social Network accounts to save your work on your account

FotoFlexer can do a bit more, but why ruin the surprise? Try it out and you might have found what you’ve always been looking for.

Example image

and after I edited it...

Tech Talk & Technical Support / Cydia Month: How to Jailbreak an iPhone
« Last post by Admin on May 01, 2012, 01:34:17 am »
Cydia is great and makes the iPhone more valuable, customizable and less restricted. But why pay for some store to Jailbreak it for you, when I can teach you how to, yourself?!

Required Files

RedSn0w http://redsn0w-download.org/
Download your IPSW (Your iPhone Version – simply search your iOS version ending with ‘IPSW Download”

To Download (Jailbreak)….

Once your iPhone is plugged in and OFF,

  • Hold down the Corner (power button) for 3 seconds
Without releasing the power button, also hold down the home button for 10 seconds
Without releasing the home button, release the power button but KEEP HOLDING THE HOME BUTTON FOR 15 SECONDS. Your screen should flash, and your jailbreak should begin!
There you have it! Hope this helped! Remember never to update your iOS version, otherwise your jailbreak data will be removed. What is Jailbreaking? Jailbreaking gives you the option to get any apps for free — even payed ones, and lets you do all sorts of things to your iPhone you’re not allowed to do without Jailbreaking it.  With Jailbreaking your iPhone is truly free and powerful.

Hey all,

Seems like we're having major technical difficulties with WordPress... as of now, we have no idea what will happen to that site. We might just continue here from now on. All posts will be transferred when a decision is made.

General Board / Forum or Blog?
« Last post by Admin on April 30, 2012, 10:50:56 pm »
People often ask which one is better. I believe that a forum is more for discussion, whereas a blog is usually more for people to read and one-time commenters. What do you think?

I can definitely help you with that. You don't need to program. Download CrossOver which lets you run Windows software on a Mac. http://download.cnet.com/CrossOver/3000-2094_4-10752691.html

You can also use Wineskin (http://download.cnet.com/Wineskin-Winery/3000-2121_4-75362648.html) and guest PC as a last resort if no other option I suggested works: http://www.lismoresystems.com/en/
